Team PRP Grows Nationwide Network with Addition of Express Auto Recyclers and Best Salvage

Denver, CO, March 30, 2012: Team PRP, the nation’s largest network of leading independent auto recyclers, has increased its membership to 110 recyclers with the addition of Express Auto Recyclers in La Vergne, TN and Best Salvage in Tucson, AZ. Both recyclers are focused on delivering the highest quality recycled parts and providing exceptional personal service to their collision repair and insurance customers which are two fundamental business practices of any member of Team PRP.

Express Auto Recyclers & Sales LLC is located on a 14 acre yard in La Vergne, TN just outside Nashville. They are a full service auto recycler offering a full line of new and used collision and mechanical parts for late model cars and light duty trucks both domestic and import. The company was started by owner, Tim Tomlin, in 2001 and has grown from a single used car dealership to a multi-faceted recycling business including the recycling facility, a “pick-and-pull” yard and a scrap metal division. The recycling operation is run by Tony Lyons, the sales manager, and Sam Roberts, the production manager. Tony has 25 years of experience in the recycling industry and joined Express six months ago. Express has revamped their quality control standards and procedures in order to deliver the highest quality product possible. They have also focused their attention on servicing the collision and insurance customers in the greater Nashville area. Express explained their reasons for joining Team PRP. “We want to say  yes’ to our customers more often and our membership in Team PRP gives us access to unlimited inventory from the PRP members across the nation. Best Salvage, located on a 10 acre yard in Tucson, AZ, had been in business for over 25 years and is owned by Matthew Skidmore, Bill Janssen and Justin Skidmore. Best Salvage is a full service auto recycler processing over 800 parts vehicles annually, both domestic and import. Steve Ohnemus is the General Manager responsible for all day-to-day operations. Matthew, along with Steve, have shifted Best’s thinking to one focused on high quality product and customer service standards. They had been considering pursuing membership with Team PRP for a while. With Steve’s insurance background he knew that many insurance companies were requiring shops to source recycled parts from only Team PRP member businesses because of their high quality standards, nationwide inventory and excellent warranties. “With Best’s commitment to these same qualities it only made sense to join the Team PRP network. We expect the increased buying power and brand recognition of the network to put us on a level playing field with our competitors.
